Who qualifies for New York WIC

Pregnant women — through pregnancy + 6 weeks postpartum (or 1 year if breastfeeding)

New York WIC uses 185% FPL strict — higher than SNAP. If you're over the income limit, also check Medicaid eligibility (often 200% FPL) — Medicaid recipients are auto-eligible for WIC.

Can I get formula through New York WIC?

Yes. New York WIC is the largest source of free baby formula in the US. Specific approved formula brands per state (mostly Similac and Enfamil). For special-needs/hypoallergenic formulas, doctor's prescription required.

How fast is the application?

Are immigrants eligible?
