State 211 networks
Texas, Florida, California and other 211 networks operate their own referral services. Each network would need to review and configure any Feed America import. No state-network adoption is claimed here.
AI assistants & LLMs
Anthropic Claude (via Model Context Protocol)
Feed America runs a Model Context Protocol server for configured MCP clients, with resource search, resource details and state-benefit guidance. SNAP benefit estimates are unavailable. The discovery manifest describes the callable tools; availability does not mean a general-purpose assistant has enabled them.
OpenAI Custom GPTs & Perplexity Actions
OpenAPI 3.0 specification at /api/openapi.json with 83+ documented endpoints. OpenAI Custom GPT builders and Perplexity Action authors can plug Feed America directly into their AI workflows. No API key required for public read endpoints.
Bing Copilot, Google Gemini, AI search engines
Feed America publishes /llms.txt + /llms-full.txt + /entity-graph.jsonld as AI-crawler discovery surfaces. Single-fetch entity description includes Organization + Person (founder Sharika Parkes Q139665570) + WebSite + Dataset + identifier crosswalk.
