Total directory growth: ~54,000 verified locations added.

Feed America (EIN 92-1761881) completed major nonprofit-partner data imports in Q3 2024, adding more than 54,000 verified food-assistance locations to the public directory. The imports came from four sources, each ingested with attribution and partner-verification metadata:

Verification + dedup

Each imported record went through Feed America's standard verification pipeline: geocode validation (records >0.8° off ZIP centroid flagged for review), phone normalization (E.164), name + type cross-validation, and dedup against existing records. The dedup pass (Migration 008) cleared 3,171 ghost / placeholder records and the R1 global dedup pass cleared 2,398 net active rows of duplicates.

All imported records carry the original source URL as a "source" attribute, allowing downstream consumers to verify back to the partner registry. AmpleHarvest, Plentiful, Salvation Army, and LA Regional Food Bank are credited as data sources at /contributors.
