Apply for WIC in Alaska

• Infant formula (typically Similac or Enfamil) for non-breastfed babies
• Breastfeeding support — peer counselors, breast pumps, lactation rooms
• Nutrition counseling from registered dietitians
• Referrals to immunization, doctor visits, family services

How to apply in Alaska

3. Bring documents:
   • Photo ID
   • Proof of Alaska residence
   • Proof of household income (pay stubs, SNAP/Medicaid letter, etc.)

4. Brief health + nutrition assessment at the appointment (~30-45 min)
5. Receive benefits — most Alaska WIC participants get an EBT card; some clinics still use paper vouchers
