One payment of $120 per eligible child for summer 2026.

Which card receives the money?

For households receiving SNAP, SUN Bucks is added to the SNAP EBT card. Other returning recipients use their 2025 SUN Bucks card. First-time recipients who need a separate card receive it by mail.

Payments and applications

Delaware listed August 31, 2026 as the summer 2026 application deadline. That date has passed. Check the state program page for your case and future application periods.

Check your child’s eligibility

The state sends a letter to automatically eligible households. If no letter arrives, the state’s school, income and application requirements determine eligibility; free meals for every student at a school do not by themselves establish eligibility.

Missing card or card help

Keep your SUN Bucks card for future summers. Call the card replacement number if it is missing.

Unused SUN Bucks expire 122 days after they are loaded.
