- Social Security cards or numbers for everyone in the household
- Last 30 days of pay stubs
- Bank statements + any rental/utility/childcare costs

Step 3: Interview + decision
D.C. DHS schedules a 30-minute interview within 30 days of application. Expedited applicants (income near zero) get a 7-day decision. If approved, your EBT card arrives in 7-10 days.
