Most large employers match employee charitable donations 1:1 or 2:1. A $100 gift can become $200 or $300 to Feed America at no extra cost to you.
Step-by-step
- Donate first — most matching programs require an existing donation to match. Donate now →
- Find your employer's matching portal — usually under "benefits", "workplace giving", or "matching gifts" in your HR/employee portal. Most large employers use Benevity, YourCause, Bright Funds, or America's Charities
- Search "Feed America" — with EIN 92-1761881. Verify it's the right entity (multiple similarly-named charities exist)
- Enter your donation details — amount, date, and proof (PayPal receipt is fine)
- Submit. Your employer's matching team processes within 30-90 days. We receive the matching gift; you receive confirmation

Is Feed America in my employer's portal?
Probably yes — we're on Benevity Causes and integrated with the major platforms. If not, email your matching-gift admin with EIN 92-1761881; most add eligible 501(c)(3)s in 1-2 weeks.
What's the time limit?
Usually 12 months from your original gift. Some employers (Boeing) have 90-day windows. Submit promptly.
What if my donation doesn't qualify?
Most employers exclude political campaigns, religious organizations (sometimes), and non-501(c)(3) entities. Feed America is a verified IRS 501(c)(3) public charity — qualifying for nearly every program.
